At The Actor’s Go-Bag, we'll draw from my active journey in the trenches—booking network TV and national commercials—to pack your creative toolkit with the zero-BS, field-tested mechanics you need to stop stressing the tech and go from booking the room to booking the job. Through intimate, small-group classes and focused 1-on-1 coaching, we'll build a supportive community that completely eliminates the guesswork and anxiety of the self-tape process. Together, we are creating a movement of empowered storytellers who get genuinely excited every time a new audition comes in—knowing they are fully packed, ready for anything, and ready to command the frame.

Hey there! My name is Ann Hurd. And I’m a working actor.
I remember when I first started doing self tapes. I had a very tiny studio apartment with barely room to move. I thought ‘how can I book anything from my tapes in this space?’ Well, even though I didn’t have a huge space or professional lighting and cameras, I was determined to make it work. And through a lot of trial and error, I found what works for me!
Everyone’s acting journey is different. I understand what works for me may not work for you. But I hope my techniques can inspire you to find what does.
